Reference Materials of Ernakulam Branch of SIRC of ICAI

Ernakulam Branch of SIRC of ICAI has a well stocked and fully furnished Library for the students and members. More than 4000 reference books available for the students. Library keeps abreast for the members with the latest books in the areas like income tax, service tax, indirect tax, IFRS, Direct Tax code etc., It helps to have an extensive reading in various latest business magazines and periodicals. E-books were added to the library wherever possible and it is available for ready reference in the library for the members and they could use the Digital CD like the complete database containing comprehensive coverage of Supreme Court, High Court and ITAT Direct Taxes Decisions, Circulations, Notifications, Articles, Queries with replies, Acts, Rules, Ready Reckoner etc. Almost all cases could be referred from this. Members could use the CD like ITR reference. Even the very old cases can also be referred.

The management and administration of the library is done through a specialized software. Steps are being taken to scan and digitalise the books in physical form.
